Sif, a market leader in offshore wind turbine foundation production, is looking for a Milling & Cutting Operator. Contribute to sustainable projects and help shape the energy transition! What will you do? As a Milling & Cutting Operator at Sif, you play a crucial role in producing offshore wind foundations. You will work on massive steel plates, contributing to high-quality products used in offshore wind turbines. Your tasks include: Operating milling machines specially designed for Sif. Machining massive steel plates (up to 42 tons and 27 meters long). Inputting programs into automatic milling machines for precise pre-processing. Collaborating with operators, maintenance technicians, and quality controllers to meet the highest standards. Performing daily checks, quality controls, and first-line troubleshooting of the machines. Conducting daily maintenance on the milling machines to ensure smooth operation. You will receive clear schedules, drawings, and work instructions, and work in a diverse team in a large production hall. Precision and attention to detail are essential in this role.
